cwdtw's Issues

Further info

I've run your examples, but can't make sense of the output.

How do you determine the mapping position of one sequence in another from the output?

For example - at the command line after running this command:

./cwDTW -i example/002a08b9-0248-4929-9759-2d5c0942076d.seqsig -p example/002a08b9-0248-4929-9759-2d5c0942076d.rawsig -o align_out

I get:

002a08b9-0248-4929-9759-2d5c0942076d 002a08b9-0248-4929-9759-2d5c0942076d 22089.546144 127006 0.173925

What are these values telling me?

What is the point of the align_out file generated here? I think this file is essentially generating the relationship between the two input files?

It's also unclear what the purpose of sig2peak is?

How to validate?

Hello, your cwDTW is very fast and valuable. I want to apply your method, but I need to make sure the accuracy of your tool first. In your paper, you mentioned signal labeling, the labeling difference between cwDTW and Tombo is below 15%. Because I'm not very familiar with this aspect, I want to know how to extract alignment information from Tombo's fast5 file, and how to calculate the 15% value. Do you have the corresponding code for my reference?

Format of the rawsig

Hi,

Can I know how this .rawsig can be generated from a dataset that I have? Is it the pico-ampere converted signal or is it also normalised? Sorry if I missed this somewhere in your documentation.

what does '-s 2.828' mean?

It said in readme "#-> 2. generate coarsening signal via peak-pick on CWT spectrum.
./sig2peak -i example/002a08b9-0248-4929-9759-2d5c0942076d.seqsig -o 002a08b9-0248-4929-9759-2d5c0942076d.peak_seqsig -s 2.828 -z 1".
But I can't find out what '-s 2.828' means. What does the argument '-s' mean and why it is 0.282?
