Hello there ๐Ÿ‘‹

I'm a member of the transformers team at Hugging Face ๐Ÿค—, expanding what's possible with text generation (PT/TF/JAX). I have a PhD in ML applied to 5G signal processing ๐Ÿ“ก and I've applied ML to several modalities (text, image, graphs, time-based signals) and industries (telecom, construction, software).

Here are a few interesting open projects and publications I've been part of, by industry:

  1. Hugging Face ๐Ÿค—
    1.1. 100x faster TensorFlow text generation with XLA (blog post, twitter thread, TensorFlow blog);
    1.2. PT โžก๏ธ TF safe weight conversion CLI (twitter thread);
    1.3. Assisted Generation -- faster text generation with the aid of a smaller model (blog post, twitter thread);

  1. nPlan
    1.1. Forecasting delays in construction projects' activities. When modeled as a classification problem, learning arbitrary delay distributions for each input becomes possible (paper);
    1.2. Exploring aleatoric vs epistemic uncertainty with Monte Carlo Dropout and ensembles (some code), and estimating their impact on forecasts.

  1. Square Kilometer Array
    1.1. Accelerating FIR filters using OpenCL, on FPGAs (paper, code);
  2. Positioning (PhD)
    2.1. Designing new signals that can be collected from 5G communications, which contain spatial information about the surroundings (paper);
    2.2. ML modeling (DNNs, CNNs, LSTMs, and TCNs) can then be used to convert that signal in 2.1. into the receiver's position, while being as accurate, but much more energy efficient, than the GPS (paper, code);
    2.3 Using Monte Carlo Dropout to estimate the uncertainty of the position predictions from 2.2. (paper, code).

LSTM and TCN not working properly

Greetings!

Thank you for the information. Please excuse me if I am bothering you. But while working on the replication of your work , the CNN algo works perfectly fine and generates results presented in publications. However, for other algos. Like LSTM, TCN, the paths file is not calling and not producing any results.

Would you take a look to the error at your convenience?

Problem for visualization

Hello, when I run the result visualization program, when I run the two files 'plot_uncertainty.py' and 'plot_correlation.py', the following error will be prompted:

In this picture,What does the 'Tx BF Index' of the axis represent. Is it used to represent different types of waves.Does the 'Sample Number' of the coordinate axis represent the number of different types of waves collected?

Compatibility with Jetson Nano 4GB

Trying to run an experiment on Jetson Nano (4GB version) with all the requirements installed, but I keep receiving the error ''MemoryError'' on terminal. Is that a hardware problem of the Jetson Nano (inefficient memory)?
Note: I also increased the size of the swap memory (I use a 32GB SD card) , but it didn't solve the problem.

dataset

Hello, I saw your project and I want to try indoor positioning. Do you have any relevant datasets?
I have obtained an indoor model from the 'Wireless InSite ray-tracing simulator' website. And what should I do with this model to get the dataset, that is how to get the final_table dataset for different scenarios. The file has no suffix, and I don't know what data format it is. I don't know how to get the final_table data through software simulation.
