If the adapter is capable of reading PS1 memory cards on a PS3 console, then it should be possible to use it through MemcardRex's PS3 Memory Card Adaptor support. However this feature was developed and tested only with the official Sony adapter, so I cannot give you any guarantees. Also that Logic 3 adapter you linked makes mention only of PS2 memory cards, making it unlikely that it will work with PS1 memory cards.

As @ndepoel already said I doubt it. Those third party adapters are sh#t. You can use official PS3 MC adapter which is tested and working or you can use Memcarduino. There are people selling already built units so it's all plug and play.
I don't get a dime out of it but hey, it exists. Search for "PS1 memory card reader" on aliexpress for example.
