Don't work in unity 2019.1.5f1

Describe the bug
When you install the plugin and add the capture from camera component on a gameobject, it look to work in the editor sometime, but once you build it, it won't work. The camera is like all zoomed in and blurry, and once the bug is trigger in the editor, remove the component won't fix it, you need to create a new scene to get rid of it.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. open a new HDRP project in unity 2019.1.5f1
  2. Install the AVpro plugin
  3. add the component Capture from camera to a game object in the scene
  4. Add something in the scene that is visible to the main camera, just to be able to see the bug
  5. Build it
  6. Play the build, you won't see the same thing then what you see in the editor, if the editor didn't bug

Ghost effect when using TXAA

Using TXAA causes some sort of ghosting, but FXAA is fine. Presumably this is due to the usage of temporal information for the camera, but we're either clearing that, or invalidating it.

Transparency Issue

The images turn to a pink/purple-ish shade when the "support transparency" toggle turned on.

unity 2019.3.0.a8 AVpro movie capture dosen't work

Describe the bug
with unity 2019.3.0.a8 AVpro movie capture dosen't work, after import as usual, the tab does not appera and once on the camere it appear to be missing or it can't be found any script to be able to use the asset.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to assest store and import as usual
  2. Click on the widow that pops up and hit ok and you can see the assests on your project folder.
  3. Scroll down in to the window\component tab and there is nothing there to use neather into the sub-tabs
  4. See error when you clik the camere you have previusly set up you can see in scrip the problem warings.

ODS mode to support screen space image effects

Currently because ODS renders in segments, any screen space effects will results in seams. Ideally we need to render ODS with a large padding and only use the inner area. I know there is already some support for this but it needs improving.

The microphone I selected does not apply to avpro capture

Hi.

I use one of the multi microphones in the window to capture.

Changing the input audio setting of avpro Capture does not apply.
The default microphone of the window is applied.
So to change input audio, I have to change the default microphone of Windows.

can't save to Application.persistentDataPath on iOS

I can't save mp4 to Application.persistentDataPath on iOS.
MacOS is no problem using the same scene.

iOS/macOS linear capture too dark and CaptureFromScreen issue

According to these posts there are issues with capturing when using floating point texture and linear space on iOS/macOS:

He says using linear space and CaptureFromTexture with R16G16B16A16_SFLOAT causes the capture to be too dark.

He also said then using CaptureFromScreen but that didn't capture correctly...

360 Capture to include Post process effects

Currently post-process effects don't get rendered correct when doing a 360 capture.

We're currently looking to improve this, via rendering in segments and edge blending.

We also need to improve support for the V2 stack. Currently the V2 stack effects don't seem to render when doing a 360 render - probably because it uses a different non ImageEffect mechanism.

Another way to support some of the effects (eg AA, Color grading) would be to add an ImageEffect to our 360 camera that resolves the cubemap images, and that could apply the effects.

Corrupted Video Output

With the base package of AVProMovieCapture, the demo scenes seem to export corrupted video files.

Recording microphone audio doesn't work in iOS

I would like to know how to record audio from ios when I register the screen with avpro. I have your script attached to the room. the recording works fine but I can't record the audio of the ios device.

I ticked the box to capture audio with Source: System Recording Device.

Media Foundation H.264 codec doesn't work in AVPro Movie Capture Windows 4.0.1

Whenever I use Media Foundation H.264 codec in AVPro Movie Capture Windows 4.0.1, the capture doesn't start (with "Failed to create recorder" error message, see log below). Uncompressed or any other codec works fine and records correct video.
The same setup works fine in AVPro Movie Capture 3.7.

  • Unity version: 2019.2.10f1

  • Operating system version: Windows 7 64bit (6.1.0), DirectX 11.0

Errors when importing into Mac OS Editor publishing to Windows Standalone.

Unity 2019 on Mac, set to publish to Windows x86_64 standalone, will error on a fresh import of AVPro Movie Capture.

Need help: Cannot seem to run ScreenCapture Scene in trial version in iOS build properly.

I make record and upload program using with vimeoUnitySDK & AVPRO,
but when I make with unity media encoder, it works well. but when I change encoder to AVPRO, when record is done, the recorded video is uploading on Vimeo Forever!
the error message is. 'iInput string was not in a correct format'..
I guess the jsonData is. somthing wrong. but I don't knw how to. fix it..

360 movie capture

Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is.
When rendering in 360, the center object in the scene appears split in half on each side of the equirectangular picture. So the stitching is done on the main center object of the scene rather than in the back.

Audio not correctly timed in recording

Hi,

I have just purchased the AVProMovieCapture and attempting to get the CaptureFromTexture script working in my scene with audio.

I have the capture working well but the audio isn't working correctly. It sounds like its jumping every half second and is sped up (sounds high pitched). I'm capturing at a Frame Rate of 30fps and the Timelapse Scale is set to 1.

Any reason why this would be happening?

Support microphone recording when using MF H.264 codec in Windows

Currently only recording audio from Unity is supported when using the MF H.264 codec. To record from microphone one must use another video codec and record to AVI instead of MP4.

This is something that can be fixed by supporting microphones in the MF implementation.

Unity particles causes cubemap edges are visible when capturing 360 video

When using Unity Particle System or some assets (e.g. Enviro) there are cubemap edges visible within the output file.

Issue with Vuforia camera

I just bought AVPro Movie Capture iOS (https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/video/avpro-movie-capture-ios-154169).

What I need to do is screen recording of my AR app and then basically save that recording.

I'm using Unity 2019.2.10f1 with the latest version of your plugin as I just bought it.

Now after integrating your plugin my Vuforia camera is rendering totally black on the screen.

When I remove the plugin files Vuforia camera starts working fine again.

The only error I see related to this is : 2019-12-19 10:57:11.861870+0400 JeepAR[778:228436] ERROR/AR(778) 2019-12-19 10:57:11: VideoBackgroundConfig with screen size of zero received, skipping config step

Any idea what might be the problem?

downloaded from asset store in new project gives warning errors for version number .. the to resolve tells us to upgrade but the asset store version still gives incorrect .. clearing %APPDATA% does not help also

29.97 frame rate support

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Trying to capture and create an output video of 29.97 fps. It only allows for 30. Taking an input video of 29.97 and trying to capture it results in stuttering.

Describe the solution you'd like
Add the option of capturing at 29.97 and 59.94

Tried to hack in some values to Capture base without success.

Video files created with AV Pro Movie Capture do not play properly with AV Pro Video

Unity 2018.1.6f1(both apps) (64-bit editor)
We're using v3.7.4 (June 14, 2019) to generate videos in one of our apps then in another app we're playing it back with AVPro Video v1.10 (July 8, 2019). As soon as the video loads AV Pro's Media Player component shows the time moving as if the video is playing. It is not playing. The component says "Play" like you can tell it to play, but the timer/scrubber shows the time moving. When play is pressed the video plays normal, but when paused the frames do not change, but the timer/seek bar keeps going.
This happens in the editor and in builds.
This only appears to be happening with the videos captured with AV Pro Movie Capture.

AV Pro Video Settings

To reproduce just download the above video and load it into AV Pro Video player. You should see the seekbar / timer running, but playback is not.

Additionally,
AVPro Movie capture says that it's deprecated in our asset store packages. Not sure why you guys did that. How do we get access to the new module (we only purchased 6 months ago).

How to get update for Unity2019.2

BUG=Not working on Unity 2019.2.0f1. Will not allow Unity to open scene.Tons of compile errors.
May require update for 2019? Cannot update further than 3.7.4.
No links for further updates?
Works perfectly on 2017.2 version
I purchased this 7 months ago from the Unity Store. In "My Assets" I can only update to 3.7.4

Your Setup (please complete the following information):

  • Unity version: Unity2019.2.0f1 personal (dx11)

  • AVPro Movie Capture version: Version=AVPro version 3.7.4-June 2019. Windows10.

  • Operating system version:= Windows10

  • Capture component used: =Using any capture component. In fact cannot get to that stage!

  • Capture settings (resolution, frame-rate, codec): =Cannot open asset to set these.

To Reproduce =Import the latest version shown in the Unity Store..version 3.7.4-14June 2019
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to '...' as above. Just import to project..even a blank project and errors immediately occur.
  2. Click on '....' as above
  3. Scroll down to '....' as above
  4. See error!!

Add HDRP/LWRP support

Currently the ApplyToMaterial/ApplyToMesh scripts don't work correctly. This is due to materina.mainTexture not working with HDRP, so it needs to be changed eg:

				//_material.mainTexture = texture;
				_material.SetTexture("_BaseColorMap", texture);

Have to see if anything else needs changing too.

Further API improvements

Simpler way to set the codec and audio device

Creating 4K videos with 4.2.0 version

Hi,
We switched to 4.2.0 version of AVPro Movie Capture from 4.0.5 version.
We are working on Windows 10 and would like to create 4K videos (with 3840x2160 resolution). We use for that CreateRecorderAVI method from NativePlugin class.
On 4.0.5 version this method had the parameter "bool useMediaFoundationH264" which allowed us to use Media Foundation H.264 codec when creating 4K videos.
On 4.2.0 version this parameter was removed from the signature of CreateRecorderAVI method. How can we still create videos by using MediaFoundation H.264 codec on 4.2.0 version? Is there any other parameter or method to specify that?

Access MF H.264 MP4 codec settings via NativePlugin class

Hi,

We are using AVPro Movie Capture 4.0.5 in order to create 4K videos.
We have problems that for videos with many frames content changes, the size of 4k videos are very large - e.g 10 Gb for a 10 min video.
We are using MF H.264 MP4 Codec and we are restricted to this due to compatibility with other internal applications. To achieve this we use the CreateRecorderVideo API call from NativePlugin class with the parameter useMediaFoundation = true.
My question is if we can configure somehow the codec in order to decrease the size of the video file. Is there any possibility to access H.264 codec settings and change them?
