jk-vita's Issues

Issues when "Building the PDF..."

Hello,

I have installed xelatex and biber on my system (I'm using Windows 10), but I keep having the following errors when attempting to build the pdf:

Warning messages:
1: running command '"./vc.sh"' had status 127
2: running command '"xelatex" keirstead-full-vita' had status 1
3: running command '"biber" keirstead-full-vita' had status 9
4: running command '"xelatex" keirstead-full-vita' had status 1
5: running command '"xelatex" keirstead-full-vita' had status 1
6: In generate_cv("C:/Users/Antonio/Dropbox/CV_AJMorales/jk-vita-master/content/keirstead-full-vita.yaml", :
Error building CV. All source files left in 'C:/Users/Antonio/Dropbox/CV_AJMorales/jk-vita-master/output'

Should I install any other package in order to compile the files? I have also installed MikTeX (64-bit) without success.

Any help is much appreciated.
Antonio

Simplify interface

The existing template has the advantage that you can tweak everything to get it just exactly so. But it has the disadvantage that it makes the code a bit temperamental at times, e.g. misplaced spaces leading to spacing errors on section headings. It would be nice to redo functions like \marginhead to something more intuitive, like \section.

Option for numbering

At the moment, you have to manually turn on numbering within each section by commenting out the enumerate environments. It would be great if this was made as an option in the setup with an interface like:

\setnumbering[rev]{true}

Font related issues

Hi,
I have been using this template for long time. I have recently upgraded my computer and installed fresh xelatex distribution. Now when compiling it trows and error
Invalid fontname 'Minion Pro', contains ' '
Any idea how can I solve this?
Many thanks beforhand.

License file?

I've been looking for such an approach for a long time - thanks!

Do you have any restrictions on for re-use? I prefer to know explicitly before forking that it is okay to do so, and if I should give attribution.

Link broken

The link in the readme to my academic CV no longer works!
