Like the title says.
I enabled the camera in my vive, but with a camera refresh rate higher than 30, the programm freezes to death. With a 30 Hz everything works fine.
PS: Thank you very very much for this programm! Saved my sanity : )
Thanks for this wonderful app - saves me so much bloody stuffing around. Just wondering if you could include floor x & z (tilt and roll) tweaks as well? Sometimes stock calibration tool doesn't get it perfectly level, and other times my Vive falls out of calibration with the floor wonky, would be nice to be able to fix it without going all thru stock calib again.
Wonder if it has something to do with new SteamVR releases, but lately, ChaperoneTweak loads, displays its room, and then freezes 2 seconds into it, and takes down the entire SteamVR headset tracking capabilities with it until I kill ChaperoneTweak and restart SteamVR.
It's an essential tool, so I hope it will be updated!
Once SteamVR is running, I run the app, and the window opens on the desktop. There is nothing shown, but a backdrop in the window on the desktop. In the HMD, I only see the normal Steam environment. I have tried both Steam Beta, and the Release branch, with the same results. I also deleted and downloaded ChaperoneTweak again, with the same results.

The menu on the controller is 100% white and unusable. This is preventing me from saving the chaperone boundaries.

The chaperone height doesn't change when I adjust it and save it in the tool. Perhaps because of my custom Steam directory?
Hello,
first of all, I want to apologize for asking this (most likely rather stupid) question, especially since this awesome program seems to be originally intended for the use with Vive / Oculus only. And that seems to be my problem: I am using a Windows-Mixed-Reality HMD (Lenovo Explorer).
The program itself runs flawlessly, but after I hit "save" the chaperone does not change / is restored to default immediately. I believe this might be due to different saving paths / formats of the chaperone. I have tried to locate its saving-path, though without any luck so far.
Is there a possible workaround for this problem or are the "two systems" just not compatible?
Any help with this is greatly appreciated, especially since this is a private project and there is, of course, no way that the creator (you) has to offer any sort of "support".
Thank you very much for your time!
There should be an ingame option to save / load configs.
Then we could have a different config for different games and easily swap between them. Also allows us to backup the current config incase we mess up the changes.
I'm on HP Windows Mixed Reality. Loaded up steam vr, then chaperonetweek and I see the unity horizon background. The 4 menus pop up when I press the menu button (3 horzontal lines) on either controller, but I can't select any of the items on the controller. Also when I press the touchpad a white box appears (I'm guessing this is for flashlight, or seeing the mixed reality cam?). I'd really like this program to work cause my playspace always gets messed up.
I enjoyed the program tweaking my chaperon. I have issued to re-size the play area though. I think I already got the biggest area possible so no resize?
Anyhow, your camera view now sticks with my controller's menu button even after numerous system reboots. It is annoying, please let me know how to get rid of it?
Thanks.
as linux gaming - including VR gaming - becomes more popular with steam play and dxvk, it would be nice to have such tools as openVR advanced settings, playspace mover and chaperone tweak on linux.
Not sure if this is possible, but in the SteamVR forums over at Steam there has been many requests for a floor height adjustment which has gone unfulfilled. This app does most of the adjustments imaginable except that one :) Would be lovely to have that capability! (And to point here when someone asks for it ;))
