Questions about the parameter setting of this project

Hi! Thanks for open-sourcing this project. I have a question about the parameter setting.

Currently, I tried your scripts to generate the simulation datasets:
https://github.com/ruipimentelfigueiredo/shape-fitting/blob/master/scripts/generate_cylinder_clouds.sh

I use the default setting. The result looks really good.

However, when I try my personal dataset, the result is not good.

Could you please give me some advice about how to tune the parameters?
The test data is attached: pcd_data.zip.

  • "cloud_000028_noise_000000.pcd" is generated from your code.
  • "new data.pcd" is my dataset.
