The current version of the app only accept official province name. However, we often communicate with unofficial name IRL. For example, โคราช stands for นครราชสีมา, สองแคว for พิษณุโลก, มหาชัย for สมุทรสาคร, etc. I think it is a good idea to include these alternate name into the list for province selection.

Also some "sub-province" (a single district or a span of multiple districts) has quite a reputation as a tourist destination in its own (well, some may exceed the province itself). Such as พัทยา in ชลบุรี, หาดใหญ่ in สงขลา, ปากช่อง in นครราชสีมา, เกาะช้าง in ตราด, etc. I think it is also a good idea to include these sub-province as an alternate name for the whole province; or even better if they have sub-province shape for themselves (so when the user checked that they've visited พัทยา, only the beach part got highlighted, not all of ชลบุรี).
