How To Use Submenus

In your cheat text document, you can add submenus by using these 2 tags

[--SectionStart:<Section Name>--]
[--SectionEnd:<Section Name>--]

Example:

[--SectionStart:Item Codes--]
00000000 00000000 00000000    

[Items x999]
040A0000 01DB2A08 52807CE0

[--SectionEnd:Item Codes--]
00000000 00000000 00000000

This will create a submenu called Item Codes with Items x999 being a cheat in that submenu.

You can also disable the submenu feature (skips submenu items in cheat file). To do so, insert the following at the very top of the file.

[--DisableSubmenus--]
00000000 00000000 00000000

Warning: Having too many cheats at once can lead to stability issues and can crash.

How To Enable Cheats by Default on Overlay Open

In your cheat text document, you can have cheats turn on by default on opening of the overlay. To do this, simply find the cheat you want to enable by default and add :ENABLED onto the end of the name.

Example:

[60 FPS Mod:ENABLED]
00000000 00000000 00000000

Warning: This will turn the cheat on every time the overlay is relaunched. Also, turning the cheat off in the menu and relaunching the overlay will turn the cheat back on.

Remember enabled cheats

It would be great if there's another toggle at the very top or bottom were we could decide if it should auto enable the current enabled cheats next time when the game starts eventually with a small delay like 10 seconds after game start.

There're so many graphic cheats for some games, it would be nice to save the best settings we found and auto load them always

I'm not sure if this is something you can do on your end or if it needs to be done on Edizon itself

Open cheat list without back to main menu like 1.0.1

in the 1.0.1 version, it can close(L + ↓ + right joystick) the tesla overlay when it is in the cheat list, and you can open(L + ↓ + right joystick again) the overlay directly into the cheat list.

but in all other newer versions, when you close overlay in the cheat list, it won't work right after you open back overlay directly into the cheat list, it displays the wrong on/off state, and when you enable cheat in this situation it might enable/disable the wrong cheat. it only works right when you return to the main menu and reload the cheat list.

since the 16.0.0 firmware version doesn't support 1.0.1 anymore, hopefully, this will work like 1.0.1 in the newer version.

Edizon overlay crash at start

it is broken after atmos update so are you aware of this and know to update it?

Firmware 17.0.0 shows 0 temperatures

Temperature values show zero values after updating to the latest version 17.0.0, hbmenu shows, status monitor too.

Is there any way to automatically turn off cheats when entering the game? I switch fw16.0.1

on HOS 15.0.0 the overlay just hangs and crashes tesla when opening this overlay.

if you find the time to fix support for it, this would be wonderful.

In hos 14.0.0, the CPU and PCB temperature shows 0℃

random crashes

UI Tip Questions

Why not simply display the temperature directly above the UI, eliminating the need to click a button? It seems redundant.

[Request] Check if dmnt:cht service exists before calling dmntchtInitialize()

This is for people that use GDB. Accidentally opening it when GDB is turned on in Atmosphere settings results in overlay stuck in infinite loop and only what we can do is to restart Switch.

When dmnt:cht is not detected, just point to empty GUI with simple "dmnt:cht is not running".

UI taking longer than normal to load (v1.0.6 -> v1.0.7)

I did some tests with v1.0.6 and v1.0.7. For some reason v1.0.7 takes longer than normal to load. It still loads, but v1.0.6 is almost instant while v1.0.7 takes a second or two. Know what the issue might be?
