A family member of mine recently installed Pretendo on their Nintendo 2DS. While attempting to load Nintendo Badge Arcade, they got an error message with the error code listed above.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

I see a list of games on the Pretendo website and a %... I don't see Luigi's Mansion dark moon? Does this mean it wont work for Luigi's mansion dark moon?

I was trying to make a PNID directly from the 3DS through NNID settings. When it came time to enter the Email, it said "the domain name of the e-mail address you entered may be incorrect. Please check the email address you entered and try again" even though I entered my valid email exactly.
Trying to move on from this, I get Error Code 022-2402, and it doesn't specify what went wrong, and I have to restart the process

this is the first time starting splatoon on my wii u with my new account connected to pretendo, I had just completed the tutorial and was roaming the main lobby. I entered the public lobby entrance, when it asks me to accept news from splatoon, I accept, then it says an error has occurred and returns me to the main lobby. help please?

I followed the instructions and everything was working so i redid the modification to add the Splatoon 2 maps to private battles and i started getting the error again.

This might be worth looking into as right now, it might look like those maps aren't going to be playable for the time being since it seems the modification required to host games with those maps will trigger error 104-2210 to appear.

On the Nintendo Network, there used to be a bot that, when friended, allowed you to show your game status on discord. Now, since pretendo owns their own server implementation, could it be possible to link your discord to your pretendo account and make use of the rich presence api?

Hi there, we've been trying to raise awareness for this issue in the Discord server, but it hasn't gained much traction. As evidenced by some screenshots and a thread in the support channel, myself and a group of other people have been trying to save as many badges for people as possible. We were hoping to start an archival effort as well, but haven't gotten that far. Just want to save as many people from being victims to this awful thing.

Tryin to link my PNID that i made on web. Keep getting error code 022-2571 and the message says "The Nintendo Network ID you entered is already in use." dispite the fact im choosing link. Any way to fix this? I wanna use my beta server rights because I donated to the super mario teir. Cant find the error code in the search

I have found a glitch and the steps to reproduce it in Tri Force Heroes.

1. Search for teammates, with no special challenge.
2. Have a second console search for teammates, with special challenge

What should happen :

• The two players don't get matched together

What happens :

• The two players get matched together
• Whenever a 3rd player will join, the game locks up when players stand on the tri force because the game fails to load the level select. People can still emote but no one sees the level select, forcing a player to disconnect

Why this happens :

• I suspect it's because filters don't get applied (for example slow and steady or fast, or with/without challenge) and people still get matched together. For "Slow and steady" or "Fast game" it shouldn't cause issues and allow to find more players which is cool, but the game doesn't know which level select (with or without challenge) it should load when people with different challenge preferences match up.

You get error code 120-9023. It also isn't a isolated case because this person has the same issue. This is all on Wii U.

Will smash 3ds/wii u be supported, (those were very popular and good games)

I want to selfhost the Pretendo Network on my own server but there seems its not documented anywhere

I see dockerfiles in repos but it's not clear how the repos/services relate to each other
I barely understood that I need at least the account server + BOSS + a MongoDB instance

It would be good to have a new link in docs (something like https://pretendo.network/docs/server-install) explaining how services should be installed depending use cases
example : what to install if someone need a single server for SMM1 / Splatoon / etc... (if its modular)
or for a complete Nintendo replacement
And how to patch the endpoints on the WiiU to redirect api calls to xxx.example.com instead of xxx.pretendo.network

When I open the Nimbus app on my New 2DS XL, I get the usual menu. I try to tap on the Pretendo option, and guess what. Crash. It leaves me on Nintendo, and It kinda sucks.

Recently there has been an influx of the error code 001-0105, which from my knowledge wasn't a big error before, I was wondering if any developers may have any insight on what could be a reason this happens, thanks :)

When seeing other people set up Pretendo it seems like you can just sign in with a the PNID you make. My system despite no longer being connected to the Nintendo official servers and now on the Pretendo servers still has the NNID connected. This is on my N3DSLL btw.

Does this proyect have any plans to support 3ds street pass? This system was shutdown years ago and it is necessary to access some content in certain games.

While opening miiverse or using the Network, error 102-2482 appears

102-2571, "The NNID you entered is already in use. Please enter a different ID."

I was going to switch from Nintendo Network to Pretendo Network since my 3ds got banned from the Nintendo Network servers.

But when I touch "Pretendo Network", it restarts (as usual), and then when I check back to see if it switched to Pretendo Network, its still on Nintendo Network!

What do I do and how do I fix this?!

Few years ago I helped implement LAN play in AltWFC. Finaly, it works flawlessly with 12 Wii without any error or disconnection.

I would like to know if Pretento can handle LAN play. I mean only in local network without internet connection and with a server who accept multiples connections from the same subnet.

I have an 3ds xl homebrewed and i want to install pretendo network, I followed the guide but a lot of errors started to appear:
1.My NNID Had Been Removed from The 3ds . I knew i was goining to expect this since pretendo creates a 2nd local account it wasnt deleted and if i uninstalled pretendo it came back
2. I couldn't access miiverse and i got the error code :015-5004 i did search it on pretendos official website and it told me to check everything again, i did and everything was done correctly
3.I tried making a new nintendo network id but it said link id. failed i dont know why?
4.I uninstalled pretendo and formated the console and after that i installed pretendo and it failed
5.after that i decided to uninstall pretendo but while the mimbus.3dsx file i did switch it from pretendo to nintendo the friend-account-manager did not. it stayed on pretendo network but it didnt affect everything ealse
6.Also the Nimbus.3dsx file when connected to the pretndo network it sometimes randomly switch form pretendo to nintendo for no reason!

After installing Pretendo, I was wondering how to uninstall it. I can't find documentation on that, so I was wondering here

After checking the whois infos, the domain was bought back by a malicious entity in 2021. I think it'd be best not to show its URL anymore.

I just created a Pretendo account. I used the same PNID as my legacy NNID.

Now I cannot add the Pretendo account on my Wii U, because it says that "This Nintendo Network ID is already associated with another user on this console."

I also cannot remove my legacy Nintendo Network account because it says that you need to have at least one account.

Am I stuck? I followed the official Pretendo documentation and nowhere does it say that you can't use the same nickname as the one you had on Nintendo Network.

Hey, I couldn't find the error code anywhere. Not for the Wii U stock or anything about it on Pretendo. No forums, Google searches etc. As we all know, you can't currently update your information on the Pretendo website, it instructs you to change it from your console instead. However when I attempted to do so I was presented with this 120-9023 error code in which I don't see anything online about its existence at all. Does anyone know what this code means? I'm assuming it's an unreleased error code specifically on pretendo's network. While I do understand Pretendo is still beta (Thank you devs btw. You're amazing) and only a handful of things work, I was just curious. Maybe I'm just the first to get this unknown error.

Instead of relying on a single server, a federation might be super useful?

Completely understand if this is impossible due to API constraints etc, just want conversation here.

When ever I try to open miiverse I get error code 102-2482
I really want to use miiverse so what should I do?

Just as the title says, I can't switch servers (I'm a beta tester)
I can try to switch, but when I refresh the page (f6/reentering the page via url bar)
the server I'm in is still the beta server. I can record some footage, if needed

and i want play mario maker course...
