Only thing changed is URL of the site. There was nothing much happening with the site. It seems better to give the domain name to others to create some good stuff.

Contributing

The Python Programming language has many applications with a large number of resources. The current content is not complete. Your contributions are welcome to make it a single place for everything about python. To contribute to this project follow the below steps -

1. Fork the project from the upper right fork button.
2. The application pages are being generated from the markdown files present in folder

applications/app-markdowns

3. Change the markdown(.md) files present in above folder and commit your changes to your fork.
4. You do not have to change the HTML files of applications. They will be automatically generated by the markdown files.
5. Open a Pull request to the develop branch of this project. Once your changes have been confirmed, your Pull request will be merged.
6. Pull request can be small also. Even a single line of contribution will make the project awesome.
7. Add your name with a link to your profile in the contributors list.

A lot of help is taken from awesome-python in creating Python Pedia. Credits goes to all contributors for creating such a great content.

python-pedia's Issues

Replace contribute block on Homepage with Community section.

Contribution link is provided in the header and footer. So, it would be better to replace the last block Contribute with Community section.This section will contain the following:

• Links to different Pycons organised worldwide.
• links to local Python meetup groups.
• Links to specific conferences like Djangocon, PyData etc.

Any other links to Python Community at one place.

Site: Embedded Python: Shadow misbehaves on mover hover

The shadow should point always to the same direction. Instead, it moves as the gear rotates. http://i.imgur.com/FIpYWUb.png

Shadow on hover covers the text

Hey,

I have spotted some minor issues which I found important as UI/UX point of view. Shadow on hover is covering some text from content, reducing it little bit would solve it. and rotating gear doesn't go with flow of rest of the page, Static gear will also solve issue of rotating shadow.
