pyfluxpro's Issues

error for example file

Hi Peter, I appreciate your providing a convenient program to make flux calculation more accessible. However, I found one problem when I try to use an example file to run the pyfluxpro. It shows the error information like ''17:01:07 ERROR Unknown sonic type (CSAT-3A) for Diag_SONIC''.
I tried to debug for this error, and I found out it's because the file didn't give the correct instrument name for Diag_SONIC. In the example file L1.txt, the variable 'Diag_SONIC' shows the instrument name is 'CSAT.' The error information disappears when I use 'CSAT3' for the instrument name.
I just tried to that you know this message. So maybe you can check this problem and renew the example file. And very much appreciate your program. It can help me to do a lot of research.

Partition the NEE to GPP and ER without using Fco2

Hi Peter,
I'm attempting to analyze site flux data from open platform contributed by other scientists using PyFluxPro. This data includes the NEE but does not contain the Fco2. I'm wondering whether I can directly partition the NEE to GPP and ER without using Fco2? Maybe REddyProc can do that, but for consistency with other analyses, I want to use PyFluxPro.
Best regards,
Zhenhai Liu

Creating an aws nc file

Hi Peter,
It was an amazing experience testing the examples through the L1-L6 processes of PyFluxPro, thank you very much for sharing the program and the thorough descriptions in wiki. I am trying for analyzing my site flux data (in Taiwan) using PyFluxPro but was stucked in L4 where I would like to fill gaps of meteorological data using nearby weather stations. I have the data in csv and the respective metadata. However, I have no idea in transforming the data to an nc file. I am wonering if you could kindly give me an instruction of making an aws nc file?
Best regrads,
Shih-Chieh Chang
