@helghast79 NiiVue supports grayscale (8, 16, 32-bit) and RGB (24-bit) DICOM images. However, it does not currently support binary (1 bit) images. Feel free to add support yourself, or share an example image with my institutional email.
While NiiVue handles many DICOM medical images, it is more focused on the research neuroimaging formats of voxels (e.g. NIfTI), meshes, connectomes and streamlines. If your primary aim is to work with DICOM images, you may be better served by the OHIF Viewer which is built on the terrific cornerstone library.

To replicate this issue, see the TCIA, SEG (binary images, file with two segmentations) dataset.
