Material Theme (Dark) for Notepad++

Requirements:

• This style is based on Monaco font (https://github.com/todylu/monaco.ttf).
• Notepad++, of course.

Installation:

Copy the Material-Dark.xml file to "%APPDATA%\Notepad++\themes" and in a portable installation to "%Notepad++%\themes".

Or simply import it to Notepad++ by going to Menu -> Settings -> Import -> Import Style theme(s) option.

Important note:

Simply downloading the xml file only from GitHub doesn't work, because the file downloaded this way is not a valid xml. You have to:

• download the whole project
• extract the xml file and copy it in C:\UsersAppData\Roaming\Notepad++\themes\
• restart Notepad and enable the theme

Porting to Atom?

I love the theme, just wondering if it would be possible for you to port it to the Atom text editor.

Does not work on Notepad++ v7.5.8 64bit

Settings -> Style Configurator -> Select theme: Material-Dark
Produces the following error:
Load stylers.xml failed
Load "C:\Apps\Notepad++\themes\Material-Dark.xml" failed!
Tried importing xml file and also dropping it into themes.

Errors out on select then crashes np++

Maybe more obvious color for brace highlight style

I think the brace highlight style should be replaced by a more obvious color scheme.
For example, this java code:

if(checkRestriction(number)){
	// code
}

I can't recognize the position of paired parentheses easily.

Tokens do not work or show up correctly with this theme

Does not work in Notepad++ 7.7 32bit, although looking at the dates of other issues I am assuming that this theme is not being actively developed. A pity as it is nice.

Add support for PowerShell and R

Powershell lexer was added in a previous commit but later removed.
R support would be great too.

Special characters coloring (with Hungarian keyboard layout) is not working:

What should I modify to use color styles on special characters too?

The appearance did not change.
I shut down and restarted NotePad++ - still no change.

Marked text not highlighted

There seems to be a problem with marked text. It is not highlighted. I resolved it with an override.

Description Issue

Could you please explain the installation process clearly?
The second method you provide doesn't work at all and the first method is completely confusing. What's the path to copy the XML file exactly?
There's not such directory on this PC.
