Option to build without dbus?

This could be generally useful on other platforms and should have an option to build without dbus and be reached via a local JSON API or something similar.

Readme example fails

After building v0.5.3 and running the example in the readme this is the result I get:

method return time=1526921765.224010 sender=:1.30 -> destination=:1.32 serial=4 reply_serial=2
   array [
   ]

I assume the array shouldn't be empty but I'm not sure why it is.

License

In the Cargo.toml file, the license is license = " GPL-2.0", which is the only reference to a license I can find. Is this literally GPL-2.0, or would you consider GPL-2.0+ (or any later version)?

It would help to put the "gpl-banner" on your source code files.

Thank you!
