Hi,

This doesn't have anything to do with OpenBD actually, it's a java application 
server problem, Adobe CF use a customized Tomcat engine specially for this to 
work like their previously used "jrun" engine.

BlueDragon (from which OpenBD is derived) also used a custom engine from 
NewAtlanta (ServletExec), and if you own an BlueDragonJX licence you can 
"update" it to OpenBD and have it work exactly like this.

Adobe was thinking of releasing their CF-Tomcat patches 
(http://blogs.coldfusion.com/post.cfm/what-s-the-deal-with-tomcat-in-coldfusion-
10) but i haven't seen anything right now, if you have a constrained vhost 
number you can tkae the mod_cfml approach, it's a two part software that plug 
into apache and tomcat to create tomcat vhost on the fly:

Thank you for the explanation.  I've started to implement mod_cfml and it
seems like it will do the trick.  I suppose this issue can be closed.
