I'm currently unclear on what would pick this up and when, so I'm deferring this to 0.4 or later.

Some first steps were taken in 32b7126, in the form of a proxy that can generate bindings on the fly. This allows us to provide bindings for anything from hyperscript-like APIs to JSX compilers. Closing this, but there will be follow-up issues.
