No plans to incorporate this in the near future.

But if you're interested, I'm working on a more feature-rich alternative to this library which does allow you to mix media types in a gallery. Also has zooming, responsive images, html modals, better accessibility options, etc. And if you use Svelte, it's an even smaller hit to your bundle size.

Maybe a couple weeks from v1. Need to get some feedback and test on more devices.
