For pre-HoneyComb Android (ie before v3.0) the styling is bad on the sign-in page - although the hint-text is visible, once text is entered it's white on a white background:

Launching an app requires the following Artwork for the Android Market, as well as a few screenshots:

• High Resolution Application Icon: Use: In various locations in Android Market.
  Does not replace launcher icon.
  Specs: 512x512, 32-bit PNG with alpha; Max size of 1024KB.
• Promotional Graphic:
  Use: In various locations in Android Market.
  Specs: 180w x 120h, 24 bit PNG or JPEG (no alpha), Full bleed, no border in art.
• Feature Graphic:
  Use: The featured section in Android Market. Will be downsized to mini or micro.
  Specs: 1024w x 500h, 24 bit PNG or JPEG (no alpha) with no transparency

Having these images is quite important for the promotion of the app - Google will be more likely to 'surface' apps with high-quality Promotional Graphics. A 1024 x 500 Featured Image is required for feature placement consideration.

I'm trying to build the project in Eclipse. When I do
Import -> Existing Maven Projects -> gauges-android folder
I get these errors:

• No marketplace entries found to handle android-maven-plugin:3.1.1.99.0.6:generate-sources in Eclipse. Please see Help for more information.
• No marketplace entries found to handle android-maven-plugin:3.1.1.99.0.6:manifest-update in Eclipse. Please see Help for more information.

I'm using Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) and Eclipse Indigo Service Release 2.

Instructions on getting the project working in Eclipse would be appreciated. Which version of Eclipse are the developers using?

Hello,

I didn't have a Gaug.es account so when installed it and asked for credentials, decided to exit and signup from my laptop.

But application didn't quit when pressing back button on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S II, Android 2.3.5)

So I ended killing the application from the task manager because going back to exit wasn't possible.

I minor nitpick.

At the moment when you hit the reload button there's not really any visual indication that anything's going on - we should probably turn the reload button into a spinning-circle animation while loading.

We can make better use of the screen space on tablets:

I have actually downloaded the code and successfully built it on the command line using maven 3.0.4.

Though, I get errors when I import the eclipse projects, which I left unmodified.

I would guess that gauge.getToday() is returning null as gauge has already been evaluated.
