Nice idea, may be even extended to test against all Galaxy releases supported by BioBlend, BUT presently there is no easy way to not selectively test features added e.g. in dev branch but not available in master.

Selective testing is not that hard - we could set an environment variable in the travis configuration (just the tag for instance until Galaxy has semantic versioning of the API) and then build a @skip_if_older_than("2014-10-06") decorator and that looks like the @skip_unless_tool decorator.
