dcm2niix's Issues

Handling inconsistent PixelSpacing between slices of a CT dicom series

I was able to successfully convert a dicom series where dicom slices had different PixelSpacing values. The raw dicom metadata values vary in precision from 5 to 10 decimal places. If you manually round each PixelSpacing value per slice to 5 decimal places, all the values per slice are the same. I was wondering if this gear does that automatically as it converts to nrrd format, or if such inconsistency does not present an issue during conversion. Just asking because I encounter several CT series with this issue and my current method for dicom to nrrd conversion fails in those particular cases.
