discovery-server's Issues

Multiple Discovery Servers

Hi

Rather than an issue I have a quick question. I would like to setup a cluster with multiple Discovery Servers. I wanted to understand how this would work.

  1. Would all the servers have visibility into all the participants and their subscribers/publishers? So if one of the servers goes down the other server can act as a backup.
  2. Can the participants use get multiple Discovery Server configurations in this case?

Thanks

Discovery Server in Docker Container

Hi!

I'm trying to deploy a discovery server in a Docker container and for this I've created a new Dockerfile. In this Dockerfile, I install the Discovery Server and all it's dependencies on top of Ubuntu 20.04, as instructed here "https://github.com/eProsima/Discovery-Server". After that, I use a bash script where, after executing the "local_setup.bash" script to create the necessary env variables, I start the discovery server passing as an argument an xml config file. As soon as I do that, the container crashes and tells me that a "Segmentation fault" has happened at line 3 of the script, which is exactly the line that starts the server. I can see in the logs that the discovery server has successfully started and loaded the xml file.
