It looks like you cancelled the revert (hello #24 ) which is why it failed to uninstall.
Did you attempt an uninstall after the fact?

I'm marking this as complete as the specific case described is resolved (the prompt is more natural around uninstalling.), a test on the current main
with a --nix-package-url
flag which is nonsense results in a working uninstall, so the underlying issue, if one existed, also was resolved.
