Inventions currently can be clicked and then the user can click a different location to designate the target location. The invention will then follow a path to the target location, this path currently isn't optimized and needs to be at some other time. Bugs need to be squashed.
It's still too small. Seriously.
Once moved to the bottom floor, it can't be moved up floors.
If an invention is selected, the scientist is in slow motion, and completes the level, the slow motion state carries over to the next level. This should not be the case.
Scientist currently just touches the bed and wins for a level.
The scientist should hit the center of the bed and then will eventually play a "getting in bed' animation.
If the scientist hits an egg beater while in midair due to the jack in the box, he will fly up in the air indefinitely.
When a player starts a level, the camera will zoom in and give a countdown before the scientist starts moving (inventions will not be clickable during this time).
If the eggbeater is placed and stops on the scientists position, the scientist will become stuck within it's hit box.
Inventions can still be placed over pits (This shouldn't be doable)
While playtesting with Erik, there are some things that I learned about how Inventions are suppose to actually operate.
Clicking an invention right as the scientist hits the egg beater will cause him to repeatedly change directions. (This is a low priority issue, since it requires precise timing)
Once the scientist hits eggbeater while inside of its hit box, the scientist does not get stuck, but the eggbeater does not reset and cannot be clicked again.
Door are first introduced in level 6 and there isn't a class to load these. This will be pretty simple to implement, but my concern is how we deal with the door shutting. Do we end the game when the door shuts or when the scientist hits the door?
The timer works, the game just needs to end and the image change from opened to closed.
On level 4: when moving the eggbeater to the second floor, an ArgumentOutOfRangeException is triggered in Invention.cs at line 538.
When zoomed, ladder doesn't clip correctly. It gets squished instead.
With the current pathfinding algorithm, inventions can go through walls.
The XML format should follow this pattern:
-Level number
----Number of floors
----Starting floor number

If the scientist gets on a skateboard then hits another invention, the skateboard becomes clickable, and moving it will cause it to patrol back and forth.
For the ease of level implementation, I desire a few items in a level editor-type program:
-A level "base". This should simply be something similar to the level template included in the level design docs.
-Ability to place various objects within the level. The following items fall into this category:
-Portals (formerly ladders)
-Stairs (facing both ways)
-Bed (also facing both ways)
-Inventions (all of them)
-Pits (both regular (for first floor) and with lasers (second and third floors))
-The player (facing either way at the start)
-Walls
-Timed Doors (plus some way to assign an initial time to them)
-Broken portals(?) or some indication of where lincoln logs (or whatever invention replaces them) can replace portals
Hitting an egg beater while in midair from a jack in the box will cause the scientist to fly off-screen.
The Room class are essentially levels. This class needs to keep track of how many floors, stairs, ladders (now portals), inventions, etc are in the level or room.
The egg beater hitbox is still too small.
Placing a jack in the box near a wall will cause the scientist to jump through the wall.
When an invention is selected, the scientist cannot interact with the invention, regardless of whether or not it is moving. The invention should still be interacted with, even if it selected (but not if it's moving).
Switch level 3's item placement to the new proposition posted elsewhere (ask me if you don't know what I'm talking about)
When inventions hit the ladder at a faster speed, the invention reaches the top of the ladder too fast and hovers over the floor, this needs to be tweaked.
You can't send it to the first floor.
On a level that doesn't utilize all three floors (e.g. level 1), clicking on a floor that an invention has no path to will cause the game to freeze.
Thinking about when everything around you goes into a slow motion when you are choosing a target location for an invention, it would be really slick if we could figure out a way to play the music to somewhat fade and then return to normal.

If the skateboard has the scientist on it and the two interact with the JackInTheBox and the scientist cannot perform the super bounce up the floor, the skateboard goes crazy.
After placing the skateboard and it is facing on the opposite direction of which it starts, once the scientist hits the skateboard he then moves in this starting direction causing him to move backwards. This is just an updating issue.
If the player dies while an invention is selected, restarting the level will cause the game to move at the speed the game goes while an invention is selected. The game functions normally otherwise.
