Getting Started

Open your Terminal (CTRL ALT T)

Clone the project from github clone (https://github.com/BeatriceWambuiMbugua/Diete)

cd Diete

Open the folder in your text editor preferably Android studio or Intellij

Prerequisites

Android Studio

Installing Check your Java Version NB: Before downloading and installing Android Studio, make sure your computer is equipped with JDK 8 or higher. (java --version)

If you don’t have Java installed, the output should be something like:

Command ‘java’ not found, but can be installed with:

sudo apt install default-jre

sudo apt install openjdk-11-jre-headless

sudo apt install openjdk-8-jre-headless

Install Android Studio Google for more details on the process since it keeps changing depending on the version
