Implement Core Rules 3.0

3.0 sources require core rules. These rules have some subtle differences from 3.5 and not so subtle differences.

Skills unreadable

All the PHB skills are under individual skill "types" like "Intelligence.Standard.Base.Appraise".
Comparing with the SRD dataset, it looks like "Base" and everything after it should be deleted from the skill types, and a line added to the PCC: "HIDETYPE:SKILL|Strength|Dexterity|Constitution|Intelligence|Wisdom|Charisma|Standard|None"

Or, am I missing something?

Set up specific Gamemode to isolate only sets in this repo

This was another interesting request. The GameMode to be provided will have the tag 'Bahamut35e' as the user only wants the books I've completed to be available in the menu. Since the sets can be used both with standard PCGen or in this gamemode I have no problem implementing this request.

Currently the user only wants 3.5e sets.

Races of the Dragon

Any work being done on adding Races of the Dragon set? Thanks in advance.

3.5 [XPH] Fix Psion Subclasses and reduce waste.

Found an email a couple of weeks old in the bulk folder:

I have noticed that when creating a telepath (Psion) that the discipline powers aren't available, such as charm and mindlink. Would love to see this fixed (of course )

question about duplication between books...

Ho do you code the pcgen objects that are reprinted between varying books?
For example, spells that are written on various books:
do you code them all and load pcgen with the option to don't load the duplicate objects?
do you code only the one in the most recent book?
do you code all of them, but give access to character to only the latest (CLASSES tag on only the last, and the older are copied with a KEY tag to permit the duplicated object to be given to monster or weapons or other published in the book)?

Double Weapon *is* TwoHanded

Hey, thanks for the report. I can see how the text is a bit confusing. But after consulting the books, it appears the Double Weapon being held in one hand is for Larger than normal creatures (Preventing double double attacking abuse). Figured I'd make an official note here since you let me know of the issue.

Rogue cannot add Thief-Acrobat levels from Complete Adventurer

It seems to be impossible to satisfy the 'all of ( at least 1 TYPE.Evasion Special Ability )' requirement.

Possibly related: at high levels, under 'Feats & Abilities > Class Features' when 'Rogue Special Ability' has remaining points, clicking on them show an empty list. I think 'Improved Evasion' and such are listed improperly as 'Rogue Class Feature' instead.

I might have found a bug

So when i choose a Halfling race (strongheart for example) for some reason he "gains" -4 Misc. Mod. of some kind. It is strange because this modifier to my knowledge should be positive not negative, and it should have value of +2. The same problem but with different values (Halfling has -6), goes with the other Halflling races/subraces.

I may be wrong, but I thinkt that I have checked everything there is.

So please check this out guys :)

Rogue SneakAttackDice and TrapSenseBonus always 0

I don't quite grok LST well enough to figure out why, but:

BONUS:VAR|SneakAttackDice|(RogueSneakAttackLVL+1)/2
BONUS:VAR|TrapSenseBonus|RogueTrapSenseLVL/3

... in ph_abilities.lst don't seem to be taking effect. They're always 0.

For instance, I see:

Sneak Attack
You can do an additional 0d6 damage if your opponent is unable to defend...

Using the expression calculator:

Rodurin: RogueLVL = 3.0
Rodurin: RogueSneakAttackLVL = 3.0
Rodurin: SneakAttackDice = 0.0

Forgotten realms - Missing Halfling Races

So I am not sure it this is a correct place,
but I would like to ask You to implement
Forgotten realms campaign setting Halfling
Subraces into the sources for 3.0.

Redesign

The redesign is looking good. I have made advancement on Complete Warrior but nothing ready to push just yet. How do I pull new new config without pulling a new clone. I don't want to lose my changes.

File Naming Standards to match PCGen standards

During the transition to 6.2, the pathfinder files have undergone some changes to almost match what I've done for my files. However, it seems the file names are case sensitive and should adopt a universal lower case usage.

My files already use a single file per type approach, but should use lower case. The other standard is plural 'abilities' vs. 'ability'. Only the core books use the single naming scheme, and should move to the plural scheme.

Implement Dragon Age (Set 1)

Add a Dragon Age Gamemode and Basic Data Set. Encompasses Set 1.

(Outstanding issue - need character sheet work to get full benefit.)

3.5 Complete Mage

This source is entered, needs some minor additions to flesh out, but is ready for beta testings.

I am withdrawing from this project. I no longer have the time to contribute.

Unearthed Arcana

I know you have said in the past that Unearthed Arcana was not a priority since pcgen can support it. From what I can tell though, PC gen only has a small subset of UA prestige classes. If I want to use any of the variant classes like wildshape ranger, I'm out of luck. Any plans to possibly add some of the missing UA classes?
