So, I got the source and added a bit of code that will switch in and out of full
screen mode when F11 is pressed.  Not sure if you want to do this with F11 or
alt+enter or as a configuration option.  Anyway, the patch is attached, use it 
if you
want.

Great to hear the F11 idea. I would be good to put it in the configuration or 
as a 
command line option so you could startup in that manner.
