What is Tech-Jalsa

Tech Jalsa is the annual Technical and Cultural event of Techno India NJR Institute of Technology. The moment to put the course books aside and swinging back into our fun-modes. TechJalsa 2K17 the inter university technical festival. Ranging from bridge-making to face-painting, from extempore to paper presentations, from fashion show to roadies, TechJalsa 2K17 provides the ultimate 4 days of fun in March 2017.

What is Tech-Jalsa Android Application

• An Android app for Techno India NJR students to keep track of 2017 fest events
• App contains Firebase notification feature to give students updates about events
• 70 students of college downloaded the app
• App includes Catch The Ball game by codingwithsara

New Feature suggestions

suggest some new feature and bases on that we create and assign you a issue with specific points.

Introduce MVP architecture

make the code maintainable, readable by introducing mvp architecture

Feature to upload links with particular category

user should able to upload a link of their video by selecting a particular category of vine, dubsmash etc
User able to upload only if the user is registered on app

Create welcome screen

Add small games

This app has one. We are looking forward for more small games.

Create Firebase Google Login

Add PayTM payment option

participants can pay through paytm for events.

Firebase Notification in foreground not working

Firebase Notification not coming when the app is in the foreground.

Share App Feature

Implement share app feature, user can share over whats app, facebook and other social media.

Improve UI

Improve UI
As for now when app starts it shows 4 tabs which represents 4 days and all other features are at overflow menu. We are looking forward for an intro slides when app first starts and then single screen from where we can redirect to specific feature screen like - calling, game etc.

Change Tab Text

As the event date is changed, we have to change the date of the event to 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th. Showing on tabs.
