The management and dataplane distinction is exactly what I need for the Open Science project. - on my GitHub .

I only saw the curl post example for where a client subscribes.

i was wondering if the SSE protocol could be also used so that clients can subscribe over SSE ?

This would allow browsers to easily subscribe. There is also a golang SSE lib floating around so that it can be used for native client written in golang .
