Most likely my mistake. I fail to incorporate your morphology filters into Gimp on Ubuntu 12.
After calling "make" it says:
(..)
/usr/bin/gimptool-2.0
/usr/bin/ld: cannot open output file ./bin/morphop: No such file or directory

Indeed, there is no /bin directory besides /src, which I expected "make" would have created.
I called "make" from terminal, starting in the same tmp directory where I unpacked "makefile", ".gitattributes" and full "/src" including c-files and their headers.
