elementaryos-firefox-theme's Issues

Reduce hederbar's height when maximized (or even all the time)

Thanks for the awesome theme!!

I've noticed, elementary's apps, when maximized (or tiled-maximized vertically) have a headerbar with reduced height, as shown here:

Captura de pantalla de 2019-12-03 21-34-18

Side note: Could you point me towards corrections one could make to make this permanent? I'm really thankful for the theme, and I've managed to change it as far as I have by pretty much braking and reverting as I don't know any css

some button position problem

hello, i really appreciate your theme even if it has some small bugs :)

there are no margin between maximize button and menu button
as we can see in screenshots bellow:

  • maximized:
    Screenshot from 2019-03-13 10 22 38

  • minimized:
    Screenshot from 2019-03-13 10 23 44

also, when we hover close button and maximize button it change their place and go a little bit to the top ( should stay vertical-align: center; )

Alignment of navigation buttons in FF Nightly 71.0a1

Hello, there is a problem with the alignment of the navigation buttons and url bar in FF Nightly. I think it's because the tab-min-height is changed to 33px instead of my userChrome's value of 30px. Somehow the value is being overwritten in Nightly causing the buttons etc. going up. It's annoying but you can always use the latest stable release of FF which I will edit and adjust when needed. Problems like this, in Nightly only, can not be solved untill it becomes a stable release. Thank you for understanding.

Tabs are larger than Epiphany

I have attached screenshots that show this.

I tried changing the tab width but couldn't figure out how the calculation was done

The headerbar changes color

(FF65 on elementaryOS 5.0 Juno)
Happens when:
1. Pressing any Fn key (e.g. F8)
2. Dragging anything (e.g. links, text, images, etc)
3. Unfocusing the window (hope I wrote that correctly)

Is it possible to hide the tab bar?

I'm using an extension to have my tabs on a sidebar so I would like to hide the tab bar. At the moment I've tried adding to your UserChrome.css file the line #TabsToolbar { visibility: collapse !important; } which actually hides the tabs however there's still a gray background. Is there any way to hide it?

Thanks :)

Megabar ready!

Hi, I made this theme Firefox 71 ready with the new Megabar in place and all works! Now we don't have to worry about compatibility with future releases. I will update the userChrome as soon as Firefox 71 is out there.

If you are using Firefox Nightly, you can now download that version of the userChrome on the main page. I created a folder named Nightly for that.

Dark URL bar used in light theme

The URL bar has a dark background when not using the dark theme, but the text remains themed for the light theme, making it both ugly and hard to see

Must use Nightly style for both nightly firefox and developer edition firefox

Thanks for added nightly version

I pulled a request for clarification in Readme to show users about this

As I don't know about nightly version works on Firefox Dev too so I edited the chrome style by myself and waste my time.
But you have worked on it before with great polish

As you can see in normal version there is another bar under tabbar that is not useful for any case, its just a bar - empty bar

Thanks for great theme
Love Elementary OS

Bookmarks unreadable in private mode

You can see that from the picture here:
Screenshot from 2020-01-20 20 14 21

  • Icons like Show Sidebar, Library & Private are barely visible.
  • The broad bookmarks bar also looks awkward.
  • I can minimize all the other elementary apps with just a right click on the title-bar (I've set it so from the dconf). If Firefox title-bar is enabled it will behave in similar manner but without it right clicking the portion near the search bar yields a context menu. Can this behaviour be changed?

[feature request] minimize button

Yes, I know it would not be a fully elementary-like feature, but I think it would be nice to have a minimize button at the top. Every other Mint windows has it, which makes FireFox a little bit weird to use with this theme. Other than that I really love your work so thank you!

New tab button doesn't work when on left of the tabs

When new tab button is on left of the tabs and container tabs are enabled from the preferences. New tab button opens the container context menu instead of opening a new tab. Also looks smaller in size when on right side.

Firefox 67.0.a1

Edit: Sorry, meant to right 67. I am on the latest nightly too

Double title bar

Firefox (70.0.1) is showing a title bar above the menu bar.

How can I get rid of the title bar?

Difficult to tell which tab is focused

If you open about 30 tabs, it becomes impossible to spot which one is focused by glancing at the tab bar.

Firefox offers a "tab line" which puts a colorful line above the focused tab, but this style disables it. It could also be helpful to choose a distinct background gradient for the focused tab.

Would you welcome a PR exploring some options to make the focused tab easy to identify?

Theme is not being applied

I followed the instructions but the theme isn't applied, I tried downloading the zip and also the latest "release". What am I doing wrong?

[Feature Request] Increase Tab Contrast

Thanks for sharing this theme!

One thing I've noticed: there does not seem to be enough contrast between tabs. Maybe this is a dark theme thing only? 4K only thing?

Screenshot from 2019-11-15 16-21-27

Suggestions:

1.) Make the in-focus background tab colour different from out-of-focus tabs
2.) Make the line drawn between tabs "stronger" via colour choice and/or weight/thickness.

Great stuff!

Double fullscreen overlay

When passing the browser in full-screen both the elementary style buttons and the window control are present.
