Please add Proton VPN

I tried to get my libreelec kodi to work with mullvad without success.

everything looks fine:

• i installed the zomboided vpn manager for OpenVPN
• i run the wizard
• put in my account number and the "m" for the passwort
• i try to get the connection and i get a list of locations that looks plausible

but then it cant connect:
'Cannot resolve host address:us-nyc-2006.mullvad.net:443(Name or service not known)'

i tried many different countries, i tried udp and tcp but still it seems not to work properly. is there any additional steps to do i am not aware of?

i am using kodi build 20.3 while running libreelec 11.0.3

UnoTelly has an OpenVPN service that I use succesfully with Linux Mint 18 and woukld love to have UnoTelly added as an pre-configured service...

i transferred the repository to my libreelec kodi installation, installed manually the repository. When i try to access the repository to install the addon it gives me the error with the error message "Could not connect to repository."

Using PIA as my vpn provider entered my user name and password. Goto vpn connections and click first connection and there is nothing there punts me back to settings.

Hello,

there is a way to use this addon to connect to another openvpn server? i got at home a running openvpn server running from my windows box and openvpn client i am able to connect to my openvpn server, i got this addon running on a rpi 2 using the libreelec distro, i would like to connect to my home network whenever i open kodi.
There is a way to do this?

I have the following problem

Since fresh install OSMC kodi krypton 17.5, OpenVpn keeps failing to connect to IPvanish server. Authentification error / cert and keys
--> i tripple checked login and password so that is not the issue
what about certs and keys? were can i check or add those

worked fine on openelec kodi 17.3

Hi Bit of a beginner still here

I have installed the repository and the open VPN client
I am a ipvanish customer
ipvanish has disconnected south Africa server for a while but is now back but the server i see with the client is not the same as on there
website
I have jhb 01 and jhb 2 on there list and on the client i have jhb 17 to 20 and it does not want to connect to any of them

Is there a way for me to update the config or must it be done by the repository

I have narrowed the behaviour down to ipinfo.io apparently taking forever to respond. It will eventually display the information if you wait for it to time out.

There is also another minor issue in that if you cycle through the VPN connections, the dialogue box says "Connected to VPN (say Copenhagen 06) - using profile (whatever it's supposed to be connecting to)"
In other words, they don't match.

I wanted to connect my hide.me vpn to my LibreELEC.

I'm terrible with Linux and just started using kodi again after probably 6 years so I remember/know nothing.

I am on a pi4
LibreELEC: 11.0.6 (kernel: Linux 6.1.74)
Kodi build: 20.3 Nexus

I downloaded the repo. Installed it from the zip.
When I go to install from the repo it says "could not connect to repository"

Am I doing something wrong?
