dayplanner's Issues

GoTo Today

I really appreciate DayPlanner: It's my reminder\planner app from now on.. thanks for your job.

A "goto today" hotkey, button, menu, anything else,.. would be very usefull.

Flexable

Time and Event is good but I need to insert choices of my own. Something like Add New. Then be able to add columns like Name - Phone - Address - etc. Then every user will be able to customise his Day Planner to suite his/her own needs. This will then be very flexible and so usable. At the moment Linux do not have software that really can do this.
Thank you
Pieter

Multiple bugs/issues with http://www.day-planner.org/ php site

Navigating the day-planner site shows lots of php errors.

There seem to be two groups of issues, some missing variables such as LangNum on the home page.

And php.ini has display_errors set to On. Changing this to Off on a production website is widely recommended as it improves security. It would also cause a large number of your display issues to immediately go away and make the remaining ones much harder to spot.

Problems with plan import

When trying to import my plan file I obtain the following warning:

Warning: An exception occurred: Not a SCALAR reference at /usr/bin/dayplanner line 1662, <$PLAN_FILE> line 15. ||

looks like dayplanner can't find the correct file. I have the plan file in the directory $HOME/.plan.dir/dayplan. I've tried to set the environment variable PLAN_FILE to this file but nothing is changing.

Can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Time zone problem

When I import a calendar from a *.ics file exported from Google Calendar, the times are 10 or 11 hours earlier than in Google Calendar. I assume that Day Planner isn't applying my local time zone (+10:00 or +11:00 hours in Hobart). Is there some time zone setting?
