I'd like to note that for /etc/pam.d/polkit-1 I had to add the cue. The comment below also suggests that it can only skipped for the login screen.

Note: this is on Gnome, not KDE, but I'd guess that things work similar for the polkit agent?

Hi, thank you very much for this guide, it's been really helpful.
For the lockscreen I cannot find a 'kde' file in /etc/pam.d/. I tried creating one with that line but that blocks all keyboard input for my lockscreen. I did see the Yubikey flash its light, so I tried "auth sufficient pam_u2f.so authfile=path-to-my-file" as I am looking for 1FA, but that didnt work either. I would love to see your kde file's content or your ideas.
