Storing and manually maintaining the appcast file in the repo seems like the quickest solution for now. We can automate it later to use GitHub releases, following some of the suggestions here: sparkle-project/Sparkle#648

Emojis up to Unicode 9.0 are supported at the moment, as https://github.com/github/gemoji supports those.

We can consider moving to a fork with 10.0 emojis or look for a different source.

Hey guys, I just installed the plugin and cannot get it to work. Typing the : and a few letters on a layer name isn't triggering the dropdown. Done some basic troubleshooting to rule out issues with Sketch, trashed the prefs file, removed other plugins. No luck.

Before the sketch 52 update this worked with symbol overrides and was a time-saver.

Add icon, which is listed under the Plugins window in Sketch.

Here at bob.io we usually structure our sketch pages, artboards, and layers with emojis, to make it more visually attractive and differentiable

Unfortunately, I do have an issue. I can't seem to find the French Flag. I tried searching on:

• France
• French
• Tricolore

But I just can't seem to find it. When I open the Mac Emoji searcher, I can find it.

There is no sketch plugin file forma contained in the zip folder.

Right now, we don't do any sorting for the suggestions. We should sort them by best match before displaying them to user.

Here at bob.io we've developed a design system. We think it could be interesting to be able to use the plugin in text that is overrided

Plugin is awesome! But, the emoji height is not the same as the text height. For example, when I have a multi-lined body of text and add emoji to the 2nd line, it creates a space between line 1 and 2 because the height of the emoji is greater than the selected text size (it does display the same height as a setting but the display is greater than the text). On 14 sized text I have to set the emoji "text size" to be 10.
