Sorry if I missed something obvious, but where's the source for the mark three? All I can see is one branch for mark two... 🤔

because I and I would assume others would likely like to have the ability to do 3D modeling with it without having to install a ton of plugins or use expensive 3D modeling software

Would be nice to have the option to install magnetic connectors like these https://www.adafruit.com/product/5360 on the sides of the boards. That way you can have the modules linked together with only the single cable connected to the PC.

hey, if you're forcing people to use ortholinear and 5 rows high bc its more ergonomic, why not go all the way? the point of making it not split by default is space savings, but there NO reason to not put the clicky LED displays in the middle, separating the two halves. You'd just have to move it to the left side of the ride half. We're not silly monkey's who don't know how to touch type and can't properly keep our fingers where they should be. this would also allow both hands easy access to the OLED display. I propose 2 versions, one with displays in middle and one with them on the right side. Or you could make the displays a separate module, and allow them to go in between, or left or right side... 🤔

ps i really love the flat design, low profile keys, ortholinear... etc its a cool project!

i know this is supposed to be part of the fata morgana cyberdeck so i am assuming you might be working on that in the background. however, is there anything i as a viewer can contribute to the project of the Mirage in of itself to further its completion? because i realllly want to build one

I just saw your Youtube Video. and when you talked about the price of a second MCU i thought to check the price the io expander you use only to find it is marked as EOL
