When trying to build the code under non-linux (e.g. Mac OS x) distributions we get the following error.

ld: warning: ignoring file ../../lib/x86_64/libCAENDigitizer.so, file was built for unsupported file format ( 0x7F 0x45 0x4C 0x46 0x02 0x01 0x01 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 ) which is not the architecture being linked (x86_64): ../../lib/x86_64/libCAENDigitizer.so

It looks like the code has a pre-built shared object libraries, such as the one above. Is it possible also include the code for it, that way we can build it separately? This should allow to build ADAQ under other platforms as well.

These steps below fail. It looks like there's an extra "include/" when referring to the header files in ASIM/build/ASIMStorageDict.cc and build/ADAQReadoutDict.cc.

cd ../ADAQReadout; make; make install
cd ../ASIMReadout; make; make install

Also, ASIMReadout->ASIM

$ADAQHOME is not defined within the ADAQ Control Makefile, had to be declared manually.

The ReadoutDict.cc files in both ADAQReadout/build and ASIMReadout/build contain a couple of include statements at the top:

include <include/someFile.hh>

which were throwing fatal errors when using make. Needed to change to:

include <../include/someFile.hh>

to point to the correct directories
