Make isDisabledStatus() more efficient
- All BOOL should be stored in a single 32-bit int.
(int iconSwitches;) - Use simple hash(length) of the iconName. Use table lookup for mask and name(s).
If mask contains a single mask bit, it's positive, otherwise the highest bit is set along with mask bits to make the mask a negative number indicating a group of masks.
pseudo code:
(int iconSwitches;)
name = geticonname(); length = geticonnamelength();
mask = masktable[length];
if ((iconSwitches & mask) == 0) return false;
else if (mask >= 0) return true;
else [long_path, maybe 2nd level hash, to be determinated after organizing all strings]; - Make kLocationKey / kLocationObsoleteKey checked only once in constructor.
- Disassemble CleanStatus to see how it works.
Check for FM at startup or settings changed.
- Checked in LoadSettings();
- If possible, use separated hook functions for further speed improvement.
