First of all, thank you very much that you documented in the README the command you used to compile poppler.

The first thing I learned was the -d command. I set the env variable to my compiled S3 file with export FONTCONFIG_PACKAGE_TGZ=http://baucloud-heroku-buildpack.s3.amazonaws.com/fontconfig.tgz.

But I still get the following message error:

configure: error: Package requirements (fontconfig >= 2.0.0) were not met:

No package 'fontconfig' found

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Can you help me or give me any hint how I can get this running?
