Hello, it seems that this problem is recurrent and happens when the ST platform is slow.

I can't do anything in my code to correct it.
You'd need to call My ecobee Init later on (during off peak hours??) and redo your
initialization again.
Please close this issue as it is beyond my control.

Thanks yracine. I worked around by creating 3 separate instances of the smartapp and it works fine that way.
