VtR has a list of benchmarks here. Most of these won't fit on the iCE40 devices, but they should fit on the ECP5 sized ones.

Supporting these benchmarks would go a long way toward being able to compare VtR and nextpnr performance.

The really big benchmarks that would be awesome to get working at the Titan benchmarks. See also http://www.eecg.utoronto.ca/~kmurray/titan.html - The issue with the Titan benchmarks is a bunch of them use Altera specific functionality.
