Tests

Before opening a pull request, run tests :

Go to the bundle's directory and execute

composer install

Unit tests

vendor/phpunit/phpunit/phpunit --testsuite=unit

Functionnal tests

• create an empty database (all data will be erased when you run tests)
• set its credentials into phpunit.xml
• import the database structure (Tests/Scenario/empty_db.sql)

workingforumbundle's Issues

Error on new thread with file size

I have problems with adding new thread.
Util/FileUploader in method extractSize(). My value is 40M and I'm getting array:
array:3 [ 0 => "4", 1 => "4", 2 => "" ]
Position 2 exist, but it's empty.

Installation failed, reverting ./composer.json to its original content.

add forum -> db exception

when adding a new forum a db exception is thrown because no value for forum::slug is set (=NULL) but this field can not be NULL in the database
this issue can be solved by setting a value for forum::slug in Controller/AdminController::addAction (line 131)

Class "yosimitso_workingforum_forum_controller" does not exist.

Hi i am new with symfony i use symfony 3.4 i do everything in setup file but in step six i put the code in routing.yml instead config.yml to solve prefix issue but i get that error , any help plz ?

Which version of bundle should be used to satisfy all dependencies for symfony 6.4?
Installed the default sf6 (using symfony new --webapp forum --version=6.4) and getting dependencies errors when run:
composer require "yosimitso/workingforumbundle". Tried different versions, "^5", "sf6-dev"

forum:add and forum:edit share the same template. for forum:edit some statistics are shown, for forum:add not, which leads to an error ("Variable "statistics" does not exist in YosimitsoWorkingForumBundle:Admin/Forum:form.html.twig at line 70")

testing your board i recognized that your code depends on "sensio/framework-extra-bundle", at least version 3.0.0, which is not mentioned in the composer.json and therefore not handled by composer. please add this requirement!

Hi,

Is it possible to have a meaning to have the control on post content stored in database ?

I'm using ckeditor for post content and I would like to avoid the call of 'strip_tags' method before saving content on database (i want to use base64_encode instead).

Maybe define Post entity as a superclass ?

Changing parameters in URL

Hello,

When I pass thread.subforum.id instead of thread.subforum.slug as the subforum_slug in index.html.twig (and the other relevant twig files), the URLs change accordingly but then clicking on the subforum then returns the following:

Error: Call to a member function getAllowedRoles() on null

And this line is highlighted:

110. $subforumRoles = $subforum->getAllowedRoles();

Same thing happens when I replace 'view' with '{view}' in routing.yml (so that 'view' can be translated per the user's locale), though only the Admin section returns the above error in this case.

Any help is appreciated!

Caution

The Swift Mailer project is not supported since November 2021 and its integration with Symfony was removed in Symfony 6.0.

Use the Symfony Mailer component, which was introduced in Symfony 4.3 as a modern replacement of Swift Mailer.

I suggest change to "Symfony Mailer" as replacement. Actually is what I am using on all my projects.

Mapping issue with post and user entities

after configuring the bundle , a problem occured with the mappingbetween post and user entities

[Bug] New thread - pin error

When adding a new thread :

Neither the property "pin" nor one of the methods "pin()", "getpin()"/"ispin()"/"haspin()" or "__call()" exist and have public access in class "Symfony\Component\Form\FormView".

I looked at the code, there are two errors:

• A wrong variable sent to the embed : https://github.com/Yosimitso/WorkingForumBundle/blob/master/Resources/views/Thread/new.html.twig#L53 : 'form': form.post.0 ( form.pin is in the root form, not in form.post.0 )
• A logic error. The goal is to hide the "pin" button when the user does not have the ROLE_ADMIN. But because of the function "{{form_rest (form)}}" it will always be displayed. We need to manage this in the ThreadFormType.

I will try to submit a pull request quickly.

strpos() error when I run initial setup with Flex structure

I've created a new Symfony flex app.
When I run the setup for Symfony 4 with Flex structure command:
composer require yosimitso/workingforumbundle : ~1.2.4
I get this error:
[ErrorException] strpos(): Empty needle
