How to use

1. Pick up knife
2. Hold down left mouse or whatever button you attack with

Installation (Manual)

1. Download BepInEx and install it
2. Download this mod on Thunderstore or build it yourself
3. Place the AutoKnifeAttack.dll in the Lethal Company\BepInEx\plugins folder
4. Run the game!

Other players appear to auto-swing knives when you are using this mod

Title. If you are holding down the attack button with a knife, you will see all other players holding knives automatically swing them with you. I don't think that these swings are actually registered, since they aren't initiated by the owner of the knife, but I didn't do any further testing to validate whether or not this was the case

To fix this, there needs to be some sort of check to make sure ItemActivatePostfix is running on the local player before checking items, inputs, cooldowns, etc.

You could check PlayerControllerB.IsOwner or compare against GameNetworkManager.Instance.localPlayerController to accomplish the above.
