how to deal with curlies in substitution parameters vs curlies after substitution is complete?

Imagine the -'s don't exist they're just used below to show intended groupings.

Test {test|test|}}-} using a } as the concatenation character

Test {test|test|}-}} empty string concatenation followed by end of substitution followed by a literal }

and if using a backslash to delimit on the example immediately above, then how to actually put a backslash there?

Test {test|test|}}} - what if you want a literal backslash there?

It creates an object of the given type, adds it as a reference wrapper to the logger, then when the guard goes away, it removes the callback object from the logger
