OpenWrt Project is a Linux operating system targeting embedded devices. Instead of trying to create a single, static firmware, OpenWrt provides a fully writable filesystem with package management. This frees you from the application selection and configuration provided by the vendor and allows you to customize the device through the use of packages to suit any application. For developers, OpenWrt is the framework to build an application without having to build a complete firmware around it; for users this means the ability for full customization, to use the device in ways never envisioned.

Built firmware images are available for many architectures and come with a package selection to be used as WiFi home router. To quickly find a factory image usable to migrate from a vendor stock firmware to OpenWrt, try the Firmware Selector.

An advanced user may require additional or specific package. (Toolchain, SDK, ...) For everything else than simple firmware download, try the wiki download page:

Development

To build your own firmware you need a GNU/Linux, BSD or macOS system (case sensitive filesystem required). Cygwin is unsupported because of the lack of a case sensitive file system.

Requirements

You need the following tools to compile OpenWrt, the package names vary between distributions. A complete list with distribution specific packages is found in the Build System Setup documentation.

Quickstart

  1. Run ./scripts/feeds update -a to obtain all the latest package definitions defined in feeds.conf / feeds.conf.default

  2. Run ./scripts/feeds install -a to install symlinks for all obtained packages into package/feeds/

  3. Run make menuconfig to select your preferred configuration for the toolchain, target system & firmware packages.

  4. Run make to build your firmware. This will download all sources, build the cross-compile toolchain and then cross-compile the GNU/Linux kernel & all chosen applications for your target system.

如何修改ESSID

查阅网上很多方法均没有修改成功??

我的路由器型号:Xiaomi Mi Router R3
架构:MediaTek MT7620A ver:2 eco:6
固件版本:NATCAP 4.0_b201810261006 Bionic r8426-94148f6b45
内核版本:4.14.78

试过在/etc/config/wireless文件中,在相应的 ssid 行后添加一行 bssid option,保存重启后发现还是没能修改成功

小米路由器3,之前已经成功从官方固件刷到了你的x-wrt。最近想升级固件,下载了你的最新x-wrt,用sysupgrade时,系统报文件格式错误。
请问,必须刷回官方再装新版才能升级吗?有什么办法直接升级吗?

测试了两台设备,分别刷的XWRT最新版本,静态限速均无效。
同款设备测试刷了其它的两款X86系统,静态限速功能有效,应该是有BUG

rt2x00 2.4 radio driver problem

It seems something got lost in the move from lede back to openwrt.
Your lede fork was very stable on Mir3.
You openwrt fork has a regression to this old bug.

稳定性问题

问题:
运行一段时间后路由器死机,可以显示WiFi信号,手机、电脑都不能连接,不能获取DHCP IP地址。需要断电重启路由。

你好,upnp无法自动添加映射,怎么设置都无法添加,是已知问题吗,大概多久修复。

i can find that X-wrt used to support Xiaomi R3 in #20 , but now i cannot find R3 firmware download link on X-wrt website. there are only latest version firmwares on X-wrt website download page.

i dont know what's the reason you choose to abandon R3, but at least i request for a history version plz

内网配置咨询

Hi Team,

我想问下固件里面默认内网的配置使用的是静态ip模式,这个跟我们正常使用的dncp有啥区别不?
如果我想改成正常的dhcp模式,限制dhcp地址池需要怎么设置?

另外,我使用的是小米3路由器,刷了x-wrt固件后发现,有时候会出现无线连接上去无法上网,但是有线是正常的,这个有什么比较好的处理办法不。

小米路由器3, wifi信号稳定问题

Hi Team,

使用了一段时间之后,发现信号的稳定性是个大问题,
经常出现2.4g 信号消失,只能用5G的wifi信号,然后,也撑不了太久,就没了.

之前是用老毛子的时候,没有出现,可以排除硬件的问题

型号: Xiaomi Mi Router R3

斐讯K2刷机后无法连接,但能进breed

硬件版本A2
之前刷的原版OpenWrt,5Gwifi正常,2.4Gwifi用一段时间后会断开,所以想换X-Wrt试试
结果进breed刷了以后,无法打开管理界面,电脑无法分配到ip。breed仍然能进,刷其他固件包括前面的原版固件也一样打不开管理界面了,看指示灯倒是正常。

请教一下会是啥原因,该如何解决?

能否适配一个小米路由器PRO(R3P)得SPI 闪存版

小米路由器pro使用nand闪存,很多朋友刷机报错,变砖,原因就是NAND坏块问题一直解决不好。为了救砖,好在电路板上又SPI闪存的焊盘,可以很方便地改造为SPI闪存启动,只是目前没有定制固件,希望能给予支持。

我的主机是J1900使用x86的4个固件都试过了,physdiskwrite写盘到之后的位置提示:

想请教下小米的那几个breed-factory.bin是如何制作的,我想自己修改后编译,小米官方的openwrt都没有factory包

WATCHDOG: eth0 (mtk_soc_eth): transmit queue 0 timed out

Latest R3 build seems to be completely broken. WAN interface drops packets heavily, router restarts every 10-15 minutes. Not sure if it's upstream bug or your build's one, can't find related bugs on track.

R7800与intel 9560ac吞吐量问题

刷了最新版X-Wrt并启用160MHz,与intel 9560ac协商速度成功为1.5或1.7Gbps,但用iperf测试的吞吐量和80Mhz没啥区别,电脑测得上传500Mbps,下载350Mbps

有没有可用的去广告插件啊,谢谢了
