Refer to the file on how to install WSL (WSL2) with Ubuntu18.04 and GUI from Remote Desktop Another tutorial on how to install Ubuntu18.04 on VMware is posted on Moodle. Check it out.

We will install ROS (Melodic) and Turtlebot3 packages. Note: ROS (Kinetic) will also work.

A open-source 3D robotics simulator (Gazebo) and a 3D visualizer for ROS (Rviz) will be installed when ROS-Melodic-Desktop-Full is installed.
