Once we become a club, we would obtain $75 in funding to enhance the seminars.

Let's collect some ideas for worthwhile investments.

• Microphone to record talks

Our HTML rendering is inconsistent and generally bad.

Same goes for talk summaries.

Let's try to get this done by November 25.

Some LaTeX is not rendering properly in Kai's summary.

We'd like some brief descriptions for at least the top tags. There is now technical support for this.

To edit a tag wiki that already exists,

• Go to the tag page, e.g. http://uwseminars.com/tag/first-year-friendly/
• Scroll to the bottom of the page
• Click on the Edit this page on GitHub link
• Make modifications, or create the file if necessary

To add a tag wiki that does not already exist,

• Go to https://github.com/wumss/seminar/new/master/wiki/tag
• Fill in "tag-name.md" in the file field
• Put content and save

Usually tag wikis should link to Wikipedia with more information. See for example the computer science tag wiki. Keep them brief.

Make sure we don't plagiarize any content from other websites.

Currently we have the sequence "Roboto, Helvetica Neue ,Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif" but unfortunately it seems that Helvetica Neue doesn't distinguish well between bold and non bold.

We should argue our case to become a club to FEDS.

Apparently we added the wrong Luthfi. The right one is @lmawarid, with a lowercase l.

Due to no upcoming talks.

Speakers will more likely look at topics if we have a short summary for them. We should also have a way for people to see all the topics without clicking Speak! and the scrolling up.

This will make talks with meaningful content stand out.

We got a suggestion for "Pipelining, specifically branch prediction sounds interesting" which I think would work better as a Tech Talk. It seems that we have the opportunity to work together; at tech talk, more practical CS-y presentations will be held, and at our seminars, we would only have math and theoretical CS-y ones.

As discussed, we should keep track of how many visitors are using the website.
