Jenkins on Mesos

Run a Jenkins master on Mesos and Marathon, using Docker and Tomcat.

Overview

This repo contains a Dockerfile that runs Jenkins inside the Apache Tomcat Java application server. It also provides several Jenkins plugins and a basic Jenkins configuration, to get you up and running quickly with Jenkins on the DCOS.

Packaging

Jenkins is available as a package in the Mesosphere Multiverse. To make changes to the Jenkins package, submit a pull request against the Multiverse.

Installation

To install Jenkins for the DCOS, perform the following steps.

1. Add the Multiverse repo to your DCOS CLI.
2. Run dcos package update
3. Run dcos package install jenkins

Jenkins should now be available at http://dcos-master/service/jenkins
