Not getting notifications anymore after not using computer for a few days

Hello, @WorldLanguages,
For some reason, after I didn't use my computer for a few days, I no longer get notifications for new messages from the ScratchNotifier website. I do not know why, but today I received 12 messages in the morning, but I didn't receive a notification for even one of them.
Can you help? Am I doing something wrong?

My device details:

• OS: Ubuntu 20.04 'Focal Fossa'
• Browser: Opera

You should remove some styles

For example, #footer-content doesn't seem to need styling.

Remove underline from links

This makes it look cleaner. Maybe add a background color on hover too ?

Move settings to sweetalert

Makes no sense to load Bootstrap and JQuery just because of a modal.

Update Pin Tab Image

Issue:

Pin tab image is from an older version of google chrome. Google Chrome UI has drastically changed since then, and the image should be updated. I also recommend adding browser-specific instructions and images.

Alt accounts usernames are not case correct

Send profile comments notifications with message content (like in v2)

Issue with mobile

Everything resets on refresh

When you refresh the page everything resets and you have to start all over again.

Custom sound notifications

Add a setting for random backgrounds (just like in v2) and let users upload their own backgrounds

sounds getting 404d

tested on chrome and firefox

i keep getting 404s for marimba and popcorn sound .wavs

ANNOYING BUG : It sends way too much notifications

I had 1 unread message, it sent approximately 15 notifications at the same time!

Mobile version 'no longer available'

When I go to the mobile version of Scratch Notifier, it says 'Sorry, the mobile version is no longer available'. Why is this?

The images aren't loading

Android version doesn't work

I've used ScratchNotifier on Android for over a year, but now it won't work! When I go to the page and enter my username it just asks me again, over and over.

Background image loading errors handling

I had trouble loading background image from picsum.photos, and when checking the console, there was a request error. You should warn the user instead of keeping the "loading image" message, when a background load request fail.

Using :not(:last-child) for alt accounts borders

Currently, the alt accounts' rows are styled using an html attribute to know if they are not the last alt. You could do :not(:last-child) in CSS. This would be practical for #7 .

Got a weird count bug

I always leave a Scratch Notifier tab open and pinned. Idk why, maybe because of cached numbers adding up or something, I got a notification saying "83 unread messages", and the Scratch Notifier showed up 83 on it. When going on Scratch though I had zero messages.

Can't have more than 3 alts

After entering 3 alts, we can't enter a new one.

Track and count Chrome freezes and discards

It would be a good idea to count how many times Scratch Notifier was freezed or discarded by Chrome (by looking at document.wasDiscarded and the freeze event) and save it on the scratchNotifier object.
This together with RAM information could be used to optimize the site for PCs with few GBs of RAM.

Error message keeps popping up

An error message keeps popping up that says "ErrorMessage.cf is not defined." Then again my computer's firewalls are kind of stupid and I do not doubt that the firewalls are the problem. The firewalls break a lot of stuff.

Using sessionStorage instead of a delay for session notifications disabling

If I'm not wrong, the present system uses a delay to know if a session has ended when notifications for this session is disabled. What would be more logical would be to use sessionStorage I guess. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Add a message to promote the Scratch notifier extension

Using flexbox instead of tables for layout

You should use flexbox, tables were a great way to make layouts, in the 90s... We are in 2019.
