Modals?

Hi WoltLab Team,

could you please make a page on how I can create a modal, and what are the requirements and options?

Thanks!

FormBuilder FormField missing

Hello and good day,

I'm trying to add support to subscribe to a newsletter on my website. Adding this, I tried using the FormBuilder for the first time.

Because everyone, also guests, can subscribe to the newsletter I wanted to protect my form using a recpatcha as you do in registration and the contact-form.

I just tried adding the CaptchaFormField (located in wcf\system\form\builder\field\CaptchaFormField) to my form, but it seems I left something out or so, because the captcha isn't shown on the page and there seems to be no DOM-Element for this.

Can you please provide information in https://github.com/woltlab/woltlab.github.io/blob/master/pages/php/api/formBuilder/php_api_form_builder-form_fields.md how to use the CaptchaFormField? Is it supposed to be used in such a case?

I hope for your help.

Greetings from Germany.

Templates & several PIPs not documented

While trying to understand building a package, I noticed that the whole documentation for templates is missing. Furthermore it occurs to me, that several PIPs are not documented as well (e.g. acpMenu, bbCode and object type related PIPs).

Tutorial: Outdated" xsi:schemaLocation" in XML files; links to "vortex", not "tornado"

The title says it all. In the required XML files are references to vortex in the xsi:schemaLocation, e.g.

<data xmlns="http://www.woltlab.com" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.woltlab.com http://www.woltlab.com/XSD/vortex/acpMenu.xsd">

Should be tornado, if I'm not mistaken, because tutorials are supposed to be for the latest version.

Adding a tutorial about moderation

Add a tutorial about moderation. Speak about the installation of the function "Report content" and the subsequent management of the message.

RuntimeCache?

When do I need to use a RuntimeCache et cetera. Thank you ;)

Tutorial Pt. 3: Listed package functionality is not given

After trying to achieve the goals of the tutorial series, I've a feeling that it might be outdated since the release of Core 3.1. Why? It wasn't possible to "comment on people on their respective page", despite working on two different installations with multiple users. There was no editor or the like to add comments, maybe due to changes on the comments in general.

Notification?

Hi there!

Could you write a page about how I can create a user notification? So what do I need in my userNotificationEvent.xml and how do I fire a objecttype?

Add documentations for Boxes

Except the Box Package PIP there is no documentation regarding boxes. Would be nice to add something to the PHP API-section like there already is for Pages, so people can get some overview.

Furthermore an extension of the tutorial series would be useful.

IRouteController?

Could you add a small description was it does and what I should use it for?

Add docs/examples to build own applications for WCF

...aaaaaand me again. ;-) #ImNotATroll #JustWannaHelp

I had not been aware that until I wrote the last issue and/or maybe I overlooked it, but:

For all I know there is no "build an application"-related documentation. Even the <isapplication> tag is missing in the docs for package.xml. A documentation for creating packages is nice, but as of now I'd like to go one step further and don't want to backward design other peoples applications to get a wrong idea of how things work. Asking the community might help, but a complete documentation would be preferred.

Add documentations for File uploads

The documentation lacks everything regarding file uploads and how to handle them.
So.. please add something? ;-)

Theoretical (example for this case, it's absolutely fictional!): I want to let users upload images to /wcf/images/user-uploads/, which are later shown on my page "Pics users want to show". But... how, which classes are needed and so on. After reading the docs I'd still have no clue.
